Jack has over 20 years of insurance experience. He participated in the esteemed Aetna Prime Training Program where he was awarded the honor of “Agent of the Year”.
He has also earned the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU).
Jack has served on the CLU Board of Directors and is an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and The Society of Financial Service Professionals. Both Jack and CKIG are active Supplier Partners of the Association Forum of Chicagland where Jack has been on the panel of several seminars providing vital insurance information to Association Executives throughout the Chicagoland area.
After working in the Independent Insurance Agency system as a Broker for over 17 years, he along with Karl Kocher formed Cook and Kocher Insurance Group, Inc., in 2006.
Jack is married, has two children and resides in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Karl Kocher
Vice-President
Karl Kocher has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry beginning at AETNA Life and Casualty and Lloyds of London as an underwriting assistant in 1989. After graduating from the University of Florida, Karl was trained and worked for both Royal Insurance and The Hartford Insurance Company as an Underwriter. At both companies, Karl worked with large property and Inland/Ocean Marine risks located throughout the United States. After his underwriting career, in 1997, Karl began working as a broker and continues to work as a partner of Cook and Kocher Insurance Group in Park Ridge, IL.
Karl lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and two children.
